Antique Islamic/Ottoman Empire Style Canakkale ceramic ewer C.1880 this is beautiful late 19th century salt glaze jug or ewer from the Embona area of Rhodes and has a typical yellow glaze with heavily incised green sgraffito decoration. It dates to around 1880-1900, and is in very good condition with the exception of glaze loss to various parts.
